My wife has a friend that is willing to join us in bed for a threesome. She says this is what she wants to give me for a birthday present. Should I do it, or is it going to screw up our marriage forever?

If you guys decide to do this, I would strongly recommend choosing a neutral location (hotel/motel/guest room), and not do this in the bed/bedroom that you share with your wife.
This is a fairly common rule among couples that swing.

It's depend on you two, husband and wife, if your marriage has not matured to its' maximum understanding and respect, it would be turned to trouble after the threesome. If you mean you and your wife don't have discipline and control to your emotional attachment, respectively, it might be the opening of the gate of trouble.
What you need and your wife is to talk deeply before proceeding into this threesome session if you both accepted whatever comes aftermath.
This is because instead of having fun to enjoy the threesome with her friend that you and your wife missed in the bed, you would look for more and more with her friend. It will lead to trouble if you can not guarantee yourself to control your emotional attachment and might lose your respect and commitments to your marriage vows. It is true that a sex with the same partner for longer period of time is not fun anymore like a newly wed and the other kind of variety is more funtastic sex that you can not compare to your regular used sex with your mate. The purpose of threesome is for fun only and not to disturbed the well established family. If you can manage the future consequences after the session then it's best for you three.

It really depends on your wife's and your personality. If you don't get jealous and you can cut off feeling in the bedroom then it wont screw up your marriage. But if you or your wife has insecurities or get easily jealous then I wouldn't suggest it. If you are going to have a threesome don't do it with a friend. It doesn't normally end well.

Hmmm? I don't know how to answer this right off hand. For me, there could not be another woman in our bed. I'm not the jealous type, but I like all the attention of my man, I wouldn't want to have to share the attention with another woman.
It very well could screw up your marriage forever, because there are uncertainties going into this.
BE VERY CAREFUL if you decide to do this.

It is going to mess it up because one wrong look at that friend and your wife will never give it up! Not to mention one wrong touch or god forbid if you moaned differently!Unless your wife is more interested in getting laid by another women than that you need to discuss with her but when you guys got married you committed yourselves to one another and that is how it should stay if you want it to last a lifetime!
Sure it sounds great but she could be just doing this to try to spice up your sex life. Instead go to a sex shop and find better ways.

Are you prepared for your wife to drive you nuts for as long as you are married? With questions like did she do it better than me....did you find her more exciting,prettier, sexier,yada yada yada...and NO ammount of reasurance is gonna satisfy her...and what about you? Will your security be threatened if your wife seems to find another woman pleasurable to be with? More so than being with you?
Fantasies should remain fantasies......making them a reality well, it nevr lives up to the imagination and causes a whole plethora of problems....if you're smart you'll decline the offer.........

if you are sure this is something that your wife really wants to do then go for it..but if it's something u have been talking about and she wants to do it because she loves u then dont..it could be a huge mistake especially if she gets jealous easily...also if u do do it ...make sure u guys set up some rules like no kissing or what she wouldnt be confortable watching u do to someone else.

In most cases the threesome thing has really screwed up the marriages, but to even be considering doing it means youre both screwed already.

I don't know about for ever but it will screw up your relationship for awhile. She may say its for you but she will never accept you paying attention to another woman in front of her. Instead, have fun talking the fantasy out with each other. Its kind of like writing out loud. And you can stop anytime.

Once you go forward, you can never go back. Next thing you know, they or you and the other person are hooking up without the spouse and then you have even bigger problems. Not to mention how she will always wonder if you feel the other person is better than her. Steer clear.... it's a trick. Cheating is cheating.
