There's a list off a BUNCH of books with 1000+ pages. It includes more than just the classics listed by others here.

Les Miserables by Victor Hugo is well over 1000 pages.

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas

Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes (depending on the edition it will be just under or just over 1,000 pages).

I will echo Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell.

War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy

There are others that are very long, but don't quite hit the 1,000 pages mark like Anna Karenina (just under), The Pickwick Papers, Bleak House, The Brothers Karamozov, etc.

David Copperfield by Charles Dickens

Bleak House by Charles Dickens

War and Peace by Leon Tolstoy

Les Miserables by Victor Hugo

I've read all of the above except for War and Peace. All are excellent reads, but they do take some time. You really live with a book that is this long. It becomes part of your life for a while. And it's sad when it's done.

It all depends on your edition. Someone previously mentioned 'Don Quixote', but my edition is only 750 pages.

Most editions of 'Lord of the Rings' are over 1000 pages if you count all three volumes as one, but I'm not sure if that will do you much good.

Otherwise, only 'War and Peace' comes to mind immediately.
