If you get exactly what you want in a candidate, you are extraordinarily lucky.
Most of us have to compromise on some issues in order to find any candidate to vote for. If enough of the guy you pick is like you, so that you don't feel like you are selling out, again, you are lucky.
There are some issues which I cannot compromise on, and these will determine my vote. The rest, unfortunately, are part of a package, and you get what you get.

Most of us end up picking the candidate who we think is going to take the country in the direction we want.
Sometimes, that means, "the lesser of two evils".
In the past few elections, there has been very little difference between the candidates. I hope that this is about to change with this election.
I think that it is time for us to find an honorable person to represent us to the world. I think it is past time for us to find someone who actually means what they say, whatever it is.
It is time to take our country back.
It is time to re-establish our Sovereignty.
It is time to stand for something.
It's time to be "Americans" again.
It's time for Ron Paul.

If Congress could be restarted again; I would not vote for the lesser of two evils// because maybe we as a nation could get it right.
Sad it is. The last time I voted for a presidential candidate, I voted based on what I thought was the lesser of two evils.

I want a leader for the people. It is sad that is hard to find in the so called current front runners in both dumb parties
.. I am secretly saying the F word thinking about it all.

To bad you can't have all in an electon, then have a runoff and then another. that way who knows some of the ones that are not completely bought would stand a chance and as the race goes on one's knocked out could "endorse". Now that would be good. Then the BCS bowl games could do the same to decide a national champion. Take care. Like the new avatars.

People are largely uneducated as to what is going on around them. The left wing media or the right wing talk show hosts tell them what to think, and that's all the thinking they do.

I am generally a conservative. But I recognize that the liberals are right on some things, conservatives on others. But the conservatives are right on the issues I find most critical, particularly the war on terror.

Vote for Rudy!

So Sad!

I will not be a part of it!

I will give my vote to Ron Paul and only Ron Paul!

PS They are all the same evil, not the lesser of two...

Dem and Rep both have the Same Agenda!

What choice have we had since 1972?

Since both parties have only put forth pure evil people for us to choose from, our only choice is to vote for the evil of the two lessor's, not vote, or write-in the candidate of our choice. I opted for the later in 2000 and 2004.

I remember it happening many times. Johnson vs Goldwater, Nixon vs Humphrey (Wow, were we wrong there) Carter vs Ford (WRONG again) Bush vs Dukakis (Tossup). It is nothing new. Since we have so little say in who is to run, what do you propose as an alternative?

Well, I think you have to take it up with George Washington: "There may not be someone you want to vote for, but there is almost always someone you will want to vote against."

Cheers.
