Revenge. Or safety. Not theirs, I mean mine.

Family

I would never kill for any material belongings. I don't relish myself with them now, and I do not care much for them. Family, yes. Only though if in a situation where it was either the killer or them (and the lives of others). Though I could never wash the blood off my hands, under any and all circumstances, and would probably end up taking my own life, thoroughly eluded with guilt and remorse; so I would not kill for my own life, and if fate is on my side, I would never have too.

I fail to comprehend why one would ever kill for a pet... I can [from experience] understand the deep loss, but, to kill another human being, because of an animal is drastic. Not to weigh down the importance of animals, but human versus animal, and with a hint of any human affection, you would realize killing for your pet is not very probable. Saying you'd kill for the love of your dog, why, in the given situation, I do doubt you actually would.

Oh, that's easy... my children and/or grandchildren! Nothing else is worth killing for. But if someone intended to do harm to any of mine I'd kill 'em and never look back. That's the way I'm hard-wired.

I have no possession that I would kill to keep; however, I would kill to protect what is important to me.

I assume you are talking about people, most people do. I would only kill people. Nothing else. Not even my life is worth killing another creature for.

I have nothing worth killing for unless I truly believed a family member(s), or myself where in peril by an assailant that was going to deliberately, no talking them out of it, take one or more lives.

i would say freedom, but I don't have that

I would kill for my family as well, used to do it to put food on the table. Those were my army days. I never really believed in what we fought for.

There is nothing that is mine alone other than the love of my wife and daughters. I would kill in an attempt to save their lives.

if you are talking about people, the freedom that my fellow americans love, that is worth defending.

but as far as what I own, hard to say. there was a time when mostly people broke in and just stole things, now they break in to harm people. when is right to kill, to defend one's life? ones property?
