"I wish" is not enough. What are the steps "to be" that person?

Just curious what your splendid ideas are. Thank you!

Wishes are a dime a dozen - making them come true are based upon how realistic those "wishes" are. Some things we wish for and don't always get are for a reason (most of the time we don't understand why until later). Making your wishes come true begin within your heart and grow into reality through dedication and hard work; both physically and emotionally. It's hard to be more specific without knowing what you are wishing for.

Being is the natural state. It is the ego that draws a veil.
Stilling the mind (hence the ego) removes the veil, and one just is.
Be still and know I am God is not God telling the human.
It means that by becoming still one realizes,'I am God'.
The state of being.

Between wishing and being, there must be acting upon that wish to make it come about. Wishes do not come true automatically or by themselves.

Decide what you need to do to attain your wish. Establish a plan of action and follow it. Get outside help if needed. Persevere--never give up.

first of all it would have to be something pratical. and then i would say the first step is to first think of something you want to be therefore wishing for it. then if its an obtainable wish then just look for the things needed and dont be lazy. just go for it.

Doesn't it all hinge on what/who you want to be? If you want to present a false front then denial is key in all . If you wish to present your true self then education of all points is in order. If you wish to present a combination...good luck on the sneaky parts.

Use imagery. Hold in your mind exactly what you want to be. Think on it, sleep on it, eat to it, work with it. Everything in life begins and ends in the mind with thought. Picture yourself in the life you want. "Anything man can conceive, and believe, he can achieve." That's a quote from (I think it's) W. Clement Stone. My point is, everything begins in the mind. Use imagery to see yourself in the life that you want to create for yourself. It works!

If you're eating, living, breathing, and sleeping whatever it is you want to achieve, that sets up a dynamic where the things you need to accomplish your goal will show up in your life.

It is called 'steps of faith'. You 'head in the direction' you want to be. The first steps are the hardest.
