Symptoms are irritability, anxiety, pulling away from friends and family or things you once loved. Everything is a chore and you can't get motivated. Sometimes you cry and don't know why. Anything that is different from your normal behavior could be a breakdown. Combativeness is also a sign as is thoughts of worthlessness or low self esteem. Ideation of suicidal thoughts is also a clue. Self-medicating with illegal drugs or alcohol is possible. It's very treatable but a professional to evaluate you would be your best choice. Don't just guess on this.take action and get help. Whether it's therapy and/or medication.please get help.

If you 'know' you are having a breakdown, you are not having a breakdown. If others know you are having a breakdown but you think you're just 'a bit off' and will be fine soon, then you may be having a breakdown. If you think you are 'going crazy' then you are sane ... if you are SURE you're sane, you could be insane.
