I have a lot of taller guy friends...but when I go to hug them, I don't know where to put my head!?!? It usually awkwardly ends up smushed into their stomach/ chestal, or I just go for the side hug. Sometimes I'm able to tip toe it and get my chin over the shoulder, but that is rare, since I'm not that tall.
Anyways, any hugging tips are welcome!!!

When u hug them turn ur head 2 the side so then only ur ear gets smushed!

not totally sure there... i'm a shorty too. but all of my taller male friends usually wrap me in a bear hug and pick me up (which is about 95% of them). but also if its an older and taller male (family friend) i usually turn my body/one side away a lil so my face doesnt get smooshed into thier belly or my neck get twisted around the wrong way

I always go for around the waist. Most of my friends are guys, and i'm only 5'5", so I've had a lot of practice hugging tall guys.

I've been in your situation a lot. I'm five one in a world full of guys that are at least five four. Just turn your head to the side. It's not weird... then your face isn't smashed into their chest (which IS weird).

i would just have to say try rlly hard to go on your tippie toes and get your chin on his shoulder but if you cant do that then just kinda fake it so you dont get smushed into their stomach..lol

Honestly it's more awkward hugging shorter guys. If I were you, i'd just continue with the tip-toe method.

r u that short to have your head at the stomach sometimes the guy will kneel down and hug or the girl will just put her hea don his chest

I am also in similar position. In that case I ask them to sit on the edge of a desk or railing or bench or any other suitable place, then it is easier. Give it a try.

Turn your head, put it on their chest and wrap you arms around, if you are on friendly terms.
Not so friendly terms, go for the side hug.
