First of all, I think the term soul-mate is ridiculous. Do I think I have a "soul mate" on Y/A? NO! Do I think I have one in the real world? NO!
I think some people are very compatible and can live happily together for life. But, I believe it is because of something other than the connotation associated with the term, soul-mate.

Sometimes, the strangest things can happen. You just mindin your own bidness, and then you meet someone who has alot the same beliefs, similar intillect, and sense of humor, and interests...all rolled into a very sexy package...

I met mine here once. But it turned out we were both just really bored. Plus, she barely spoke any english, but taught me a lot of italian. That's one plus from the relationship, I guess.
