That my dear Natalie is one of the greatest mysteries of the universe. It is a trait apparent in all young boys and follows them into manhood. It is not affected by race or creed. To this day no scholar has been able to find the answer to this complex question.

For the same reason that guys like to play pranks on each other. To Fart is like a covert prank that attacks everyone in the vicinity. Think of it like a carpet bombing prank.

boys laugh at very gross things all the time, so farting is gross so they laugh. they also think it is funny when people get upset because of their foul stench.
