First, both are not only of legal age, they are both old enough to be seasoned adults fully capable of deciding what is best for them.
Second, just as there are plenty of straight relationships between two people of very different ages, so there are in gay relationships.

I am 38yrs old & my partner is 63yrs old. We have been together for 12 very happy years. During which time we have seen many straight relationships crash & burn.

It depends, age is just a number. It's a bit dramatic I'll give you that but in the long run isn't it between the two people involved? My first relationship was with a guy who was 12 years older than I was and I was 18. My current guy is 5 and half years older than I am. Current. Pishaw, it's been 25 years and I don't want it to change even though time hasn't been very good to him but excellent to me, or so he says. I think he's swelling my head but that's a story for a different day.

No, not at all, love knows no age boundries I have an older freind who is striaght age 72 and his wife is 40. Where it might be improper or unhealthy is, if the younger party is a teenager, and where it would be sick and harmfull is if the younger party is a child. So if they (the 65 year old and the 30 year old) are happy, why not?!

Well to each his own, I say. I'm 64 and the only thing I lust for is a 21 year old woman who can make me feel young again but I think my wife would object to that so I just settle for what I have and besides it's too hard to break in another one. Took me long enough to understand the one I have.

Most people way younger than 65 will not like this idea, that is of course, until they become 65 themselves.

I have found that this is very natural. Many younger guys prefer to be with a much older mature individual.

I have also known younger guys who just want an older friend/partner to be like a 'Sugar Daddy" to them and pay their way in life.

Whats the age got to do with it, you don't say what their feelings toward each other are like and if the chemistry is good, to many people carry on about the crappy age discrimination trash, love has no age barriers to it ( unless they are minors), especially at the legal age of consent.

Some guys are into older men, some are into younger men.

If it works go for it... if it doesn't... you won't spend the rest of your life replaying 'I wish I would have...'
