smsmith500, i think you need to take a good hard look at who relaly didn't take it seriously in 1996 when they trimmed clinton's anti-terror proposals.

This is Bush's proposal. The Dems haven't gotten their paws on it.
Some say it's a DOA bill.
I loved one quote I read: Bush runs around scaring the country half to death, and then he pulls the plug on funds.
Classic Bush in action.
He would probably then engineer a terrorist strike on LA, and blame Pelosi. I honestly wouldn't put it past the twerp. Yeah, you heard me. Bush is a twerp. I have no other words for a man who has done so much damage in such a short amount of time.

considering that liberals don't believe there is a terrorist threat in the first place and looking at what various states spent the grant money on. A review and cutting this program is overdue. And what enabled 9-11 to happen is a President that was warned about the attack in 96 and didn't take it seriously.

It is the fault of the people who let them in the country...Almost all of these guys were on the terrorists list...They were wanted from the get go...Who let them in?Our goverment...Why did osama family get to leave the country afterwards without even being asked a single question?It makes me wonder...

And he just HAD to go invade Iraq to save us from terrorist attacks right? Between illegal immigration, trying to sell ports to Dubai, and slashing these budgets, it really makes you wonder.....

Yeah you'd think the Democrats (who control the budget) would fund all those programs fully. After all isn't that why we voted them in?
