Now they want to implement these plans if they get elected as president. Why haven't they already introduced these plans into congress, they have both been there, how long?

That would require them to think, and do some actual work. They haven't thought out past the talking points, and they never will. Anyone with a brain knows these 'plans' will never work. The purpose of these campaign promises is to attract lazy people to vote for them.

That is a great question. I think it's the only election tool they have. Just one of those things that they could have introduced long ago, but then what would they run on?

Bush won't even pass a child healthcare plan... so why waste your time...

this is VERY BASIC common sense...

it's like asking why the Republican congress didn't ban abotion in the 90s with Clinton as president...

it's sad so many think this is a good question...

They wont implement these plans, they are just dangling the carrot, which unfortunately alot of people are falling for

It,s just a sales pitch to get votes...The president can only submit his or maybe her ideas..But lots of luck getting it through congress!!!!!

Because they know they'll get defeated. They're running on the pretense that they'll be able to get everone healthcare. It won't happen. Never ever ever.
