So theres this girl i've known since 4th grade. she went to a different school after 6th grade. I met up with her 2 summers later and we talked alot and went to a couple movies and were good friends. She's now at my school (were in 9th grade). We sat together at lunch and stuff and now its wierd, its like ever since she came here we don't really talk to each other, and every time we talk it just ends up being awkward and no one breaks the ice. So my question is, why is she acting like this, and how should i break the ice when it gets awkward? I wanna be her friend again, and want it to go back to normal

looks like you are looking to her to lead you, when it should be you leading her.. you are the male -you need to be the one to initiate, always not her. her job is to play hard to get, your job is to persue her, if that's what's meant to be.

of course she has a choice, but you need to be the leader. Don't look to her for approval. You don't need her approval. You need some confidence in yourself. Of course if her choice is no, then it's no.

basically build a strong, capable self-image, see yourself as the person you want to become. not necessarily the person you are now.
