Mammoth Mountain, CA?

Does anyone know if there was snow today? And if there are any resorts still vacant for this winter?

no snow is presently falling to my knowledge. not sure about mammoth, their website says that with snowmaking they will open some lifts this weekend. Their base is only like 14".

MOst resorts in california have had very little snow this season to date. LakeTahoe only a few resorts are open (heavenly, Kirkwood, Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley, Northstar, Sugar Bowl and Boreal). But they have been making snow since last week. and have maybe 2 - 6 lifts open.

might be some snow coming next week, as there is a storm system coming in.
