10% of 1800 would be 180.

So 30% of 1800 would be 540.

For 29.5% of 1800 my *estimate* is that the answer will be *slightly less than* 540.

(And yes, others have pointed out that the exact value will be 531).

If you want to estimate this round off to 30% and multiply 3 x 18 getting 54, then add back a zero to get an estimate of about 540. Actual answer will be slightly less.
