crafts or chemistry expiriments todo when bored???

Question

I prefer crafts but chemistry expiriments are good to. Do u have any craft or chemistry expiriment ideas???preferrably for the ages of 9-12. I'm low on supplies but i think my mom is going to the store. So help with mostly crafts but expiremints are goos too bye! luv ya

Here's one for Christmas. Need: pipe cleaners, Epsom Salts (bath salts), Paper cups or glasses, l cup of water per ornament, pencil.

Boil the water, remove from stove and stir in salt 1/4 cup at a time until all dissolved.

Bend pipe cleaner into holiday shape (candy cane, star, tree).

Fill glass or cup with dissolved water.

Place pencil across top of cup or glass and hang ornament into the water, fully covered. Place glass on high shelf, in warm place. Wait three whole weeks, and you will have a beautiful crystal ornament to put on your tree.

After Christmas, you can place the ornaments in your bath water for a nice comfy bath.
