Because everyone is arguing that the USSR and Britain could handle Germany simply with American arms, I will attempt to argue that yes, Germany would have won the war.
Assume that Japan not only didn't attack America, but also left American sphere of influence in Asia untouched, and that America would not declare war on the Axis until, for my argument 1945.
Before WWII, the American army was not a force, it was something like the 17th in the world (don't quote me on the number.) America would have less incentive to develop the weapons that it did during WWII. Germany had been developing and continued to develop throughout the war.
Assuming that Germany had an extra three year head start, it would have beaten America to all of the technologies, the Nuclear Bomb, Long range jet bombers and fighters (look at the ME-262 deployed at the end of the war,) and mid to long range missiles. I don't think the Allies could defeat that foe.

The US did not "win the war". They were important to the war effort. You could even say they were the single most important player for the Allies. However, if they had remained neutral they would likely have faced a cold war against Germany and Japan. Now, as you hint it's not likely they could have withstood alone. However, given the geography involved it's very unlikely that either of the Axis powers would have been capable of invading the US for several years. By then I'm sure the US economy and military would have been up to the task of repelling an invasion. So it's possible that eventually the same nuclear deterrent would have come into play as in real life. But no, the US didn't win the war alone.

Actually tgh buggest mistake Hitler did was to declare war on the US. Yes it is Germany who declared war on the US. It is y unclear why he did except for being an ally of Japan. Hitler again made the mistake by attacking Russia and forgetting that Napoleon we was defeated by the Russian winter. It is amazing how dumb the man was , totally illiterateregarding history , but his generalswere cowards, and simply your typically German who then followed orders clciking his heels. Once the US was at war, it was the beginning of the end for Hitler. Why? Because just like so many other tyrants in the world they fail to judge the US population. Even multicultural, if the US is in danger, US is united and ther mightiest nation in the o worlf since it can count on a united front and the talents from allover the worldfs of people r that emigrated to the US. The problem now with Iraq anfother foolo lish US adventures, is that the US was not directly threatened. In the case of Nazi Germany declasring war on the US , it was of Germany's making. So far as I know nobody ever ha s declared war on the US since Hitler did. The 9/11 attack was by individuals and the once who were behind it never declared war on the US since they are cowards using Islam as a cover.

The US entered the way December 7, 1941.
It took the forces to the United States, Britian, and the Soviet Union (we were allies at that time) to stop them.
Yes, we wouldhave gotten involved in the war in Europe. The reason we delay our entry into the war was that the US was not really prepared to fight a large war.
During the war food and gasoline was rationed because their wasn't enough to support the troops. All metal were collected to provide materials to build weapons.
America was not a "powehouse" nation before WW2. We were just sort of a "little brother" country to Europe.
Hitler did have plans to invade the United States, but there was no way were would have let Hitler take over the Old World. Certainly, many people were against our entry into the war, but Hitler had to be stopped. We just waited until we were capable of producing the materials we needed.
I hope we never have to do anything like that ever again.

I honestly think that Germany had bitten off more than she could chew by attacking the USSR on June 22, 1941. With everything going for them, they still couldn't take Moscow before winter set in. Some might say that lend lease kept the Soviet Union in the war, but it wasn't ramped up until 1943. Even after the Normandy Invasion in '44, 75% of german forces were committed to the eastern front, and they were being pushed back by leaps and bounds. Without the U.S in the war, the Nazis would have been able to hold out longer, maybe long enough for some type of German atomic bomb program to be successful? Or possibly greater development of the V-rocket series, long range jet bombers, or any other of the "wonder weapons". Its possible. Without the big allied bombing campaigns, and no Americans to tie them up in North Africa or italy, the germans could have swung the pendulum far enough over to knock the Soviets out, but I kind of doubt it.
Also, Hitler was a big moron for declaring war on the US on december 12, he probably could have stayed out of it for at least 6 months more to a year, possibly even longer. Since all of our rage was directed at first to the Japanese, and we had not delcared war on germany at this point.

no , Nazi Germans may NOT win even if U.S didnt fight by combat. When the war begin , America was aiready giving supplies to Britian. British fought alone for awhile , Germans cant get the job done , they keep sending bombers to take British out but RAF keep fighting back. Hitler's decison also became he demise . he invaded Russia , thou he got better weapons , weather and strength in number wasnt in his favor , as result he had to fight two front wars with British and Russians before American Jump in.
Japan attacking was inevitable , Japan is an island country need raw materials but Americans wont give it to them as long as Japanese keep invading other islands in Asia.

we did not invade until 06/44 I think. in less than a year it was all over. but i think our mustangs really helped put the nail in hitler's coffin. that and bombing the shat out of dresdin. i think they we aleady on their heels by then, being driven from russia and all. but, if we did not develop the a-bomb to bomb japan, germany was supposedly pretty close to their own by 1945. so it is a good possibilty we'd all be sitting around drinking beer and speaking german by now if we did not have reason to develop the a-bomb.

No, because the USSR was already engaged and the USA was functioning as the arsenal of democracy.
