OK,this time I read all the answers before I decided to put my 2-cents in,here goes.I have been on this planet for 48 years now,as a white guy, who lived through the 70's and witnessed bigotry first hand. There are just some buttheads who just won't vote for a black man or a woman period! It don't make no difference what you say or how you say it,they are that way and they are just that way!And that's the way they are and to hell with everybody else! They will just as likely vote for a douchbag like the shrub, knowing good and well he will run the country in the ground, before they will vote female,or they would vote for a Monster like the Puppet-Master before they would vote Black, even though they know it would be alot easier living under Hitler! They will be the first to ***** about it too......BUT.....Hell that's just me raving again....It's just that I love my country, and it needs help, and I sometimes feel like the crazy f*&^ker screaming on the mountain...God help us....

Man C'mon, Do you really believe that? just because Obama is black, doesnt mean that every black person in the US voted for him. We do think about issues also. Some black people voted for McCain. I know of quite a few. My question is how many white people didnt vote for Obama just because he is black? or looks more black for people who want to say hes black and white. Tell Obama to steal something and I'm sure his description would be some black guy walked in here and stole something.

Yes to both. What a person will say on the phone to a pollster and how they actually vote can be two entirely different things. Racism and misogyny are alive, well and still rampant in this country. While I believe Obama would do BETTER than Clinton in a general election against any Republican, I still believe that both would lose.

No. Millions of Americans will not vote for either Barak Hussein Obama nor Hillery Rotten Clinton because they work for the same interests as the current Administration. They have sold their souls to the Council on Foreign Relations. Why do you think they get so much publicity?
The same can be said for Rudy Ghoulani and Mittens Romney. They are all the same thing, calculating politicians without integrity.
Ron Paul is the only honest candidate running. He is the only candidate who gives straight answers. He doesn't beat around the bush. He actually believes in the Constitution.

He's actually Hawaiian, because he was born here in the islands. He's cosmopolitan too. Not to mention an American. I hope race will not weigh heavily when it comes to voting. I would like to think we are above that these days. Hillary doesn't count as a woman because she represents Bill. Should have dumped him when he betrayed her. And he should have owned up to what he did as soon as it came out then it would have been forgivable - everybody needs some sometime! And where better to have sex than the oval office?! - but lying just made him a liar. Liars suck as Presidents.

Yes! Also, there are equal numbers of people who will vote for Hussein because he claims to be Black, and for Hillary Rodham Clinton because she is a woman. For your information, Baracka Hussein Obama,Jr. is 50% White and 50% Black, making his claim to be Black only 50% correct. As far as we know, Hillary Rodham Clinton is a woman. I'll let you know if I should get the job as her intern! Hussein does not have experience or proven abilities to even be in the senate, much less the presidency. Hussein is a fraud, and unfit to be in the oval office, especially after the two puplic incidents of dishonoring the American flag. Source; News Busters, and Associated Press.

It would be silly to assume that there are not people out there that would vote one way or another because of color or gender. Unfortunately America has plenty of people just like that. Personally, I would never vote, or not vote for someone due to their color, or gender. I am NOT voting for either one, but I'm not a Democrat!

I don't think race or gender have a thing to do with choices. Are more women prone to watching Oprah going to vote for Obama because she said so? I want to know what both will do for the people period.

Yes and yes.
But I also believe that people should vote by issues and not by party, religion, sex , race or otherwise.
We have to understand each candidate for what they offer as helping our nation forward economically and in peace with other countries.

I think some people won't vote for them because of the reasons you've listed. However, the majority of people who don't support them have other, more legitimate reasons for supporting a different candidate. Personally, I can't see that either one of them offers any solutions to the problems our nations is facing. They both want to expand government, and that will never appeal to me. History shows us that big governments are tyrannous. Why would any rational human being who doesn't belong to the country club support tyranny?
