I have just seen the 1am news on BBC that 1,000s of people have gone on the streets in Sudan to have the teacher executed for the teddy bear being called Mohammad.
Are these people crazy or what?

Muslims in the UK can preach on the streets and in Mosques of hatred against the Brits and the USA, but all they get is a warning.
Something is wrong somewhere.

Friends, Bombing Sudan was just a tongue in cheek remark, not to be taken seriously.

This is ridiculous,so called civilised people, screaming for the death penalty for a teacher that let her 7 yr old pupils choose the name of a cuddly toy teddy. What the hell is this world coming to,when something so innocent causes such hatred. As you say the Muslims in this country can preach hatred and yet nothing is done, but if an English person did the same against Muslims they would be jailed.

Totally agree with you, once again another culture is taking advantage of the west charitable nature particularly here in Britain, as you say radical Islamic leaders preaching hatred for the west and what happens to them ? a slap on the wrist, maybe we should have them publicly beheaded, as they are calling for a teacher calling a teddy Mohamed. How stupid is this culture and religion and what a sick interpretation of the Koran ? This is one reason why Turkey should not be allowed into the E.U. this would be just another nail in the coffin of our culture, we don't expect Islamic countries to change for us, but they expect and demand we should change our ways for them, this is not on.

Bombing Sudan couldn't do much more damage than the Sudanese government and their friends the Janjaweed, could it?
We know the typical way things are done in by the Sudanese government: corruption, extortion, threats, rape, torture, and genocide.
Let's be glad Ms. Gibbons can return to the UK.

We don't need to bomb them. They receive millions of pounds in aid from our taxes, plus UK charities putting money where the Sudanese people are desperate for it. They'd soon realise how desperate they are when it isn't there anymore. The British government should stop giving aid to countries which let their legal systems be run by such fouled-up, primitive superstitious belief systems, and should prevent any legally recognised UK charities from helping countries which allow these basically wrong beliefs to run their courts. There is no god, no allah, no yahweh, and those who believe otherwise are wrong and deserve neither charity nor pity.

I think the rest of the world should have nothing whatsoever to do with Sudan now. Its a f*cked up country with brainwashed idiots living in it. Better to turn our backs on their country, don't visit and don't send aid.

Although I agree with you about the double standards, I don't agree that two wrongs will make a right!
We shouldn't stoop to their level and retaliate by bombing, but people should do peaceful protests, get signatures on a petition, pray, try and reason with them, anything but resort to violence!
I hope other people agree with me, because enough innoent blood has been spilled already!

You must respect the laws of the land- In the Sudan this is illegal- in the Western world it is fine- therein lies the paradox of a democracy .
