of corse. Real men don't abuse their women, but of corse a real man must set good standards for his kids. A real man will protect his family from danger and be aggressive towards them in situations of unorganization. A real man loves his wife and gives her a soft touch, but towards his young he must discipline them in a proper way and teach them how to walk through life on all the right paths.

The topic if Abuse is extremely complex. We still have difficult time understanding motives of those involved in abuse.

Whether one is real or fake man has nothing to do taking advantage of another human being. It does not have man, woman or anyone else. The answer is NO. When people are abused, it causes emotional trauma, especially for children.

For example, if a child i abuse while growing, the chances of the child growing up to be an abuser will be very high. Now they are the other end of the spectrum. It's a repeating cycle we have to stop.

So please don't ever think it's alright to take advantage of people especially when they are emotionally weaken.

It took me two raises and a promotion to day manager to get the wage i last had at a restaurant... I remember being irritated beyond words when I learned that the new hire-with no experience- got a starting wage equal to what it took me 8 months to earn. (Later he was on the news for arson, kinda funny I thought.. just had to throw that in there) This is still typical. If you listen to the statistics regarding unemployment during this recession/depression figures show that women are holding more jobs than men right now. This is simply because women are cheaper to employ! Still! Any place that can get away with this does. I did not watch the video- but that's what I have to say on equality. Not quite there. Then again, I don't believe men and women are equal... More balanced than equal, ya know? :D

Look I've met "real men" who were perfectly content to consider women as nothing more than walking, talking urge-eliminators and not a whole lot else.

So if you are referring to "decent men" and wish to refer to them as "decent" who are the least bit generative, and are interested in family and such then yes by and large you are correct, but there are guys out there who can "hook up" on a dime and think nothing other than of "their needs".

As far as being abused or being taken advantage of , DON'T tolerate it, teach children exactly how unacceptable that is, and in a generation or two , that stuff might be even less acceptable than it is.

coming from an abusive relationship. Yes, only a weak man takes advantage of a woman or child. Strong real men support and love their women and children. I was a very string woman with a weak man, he couldn't handle that so he did things to make me weak and i let him for a couple of years. i regretted that i stayed so long, but it's hard to leave when your brainwashed to believe if you leave this person they will either hurt themselves or hurt you. So yea, a real man is strong, moral, supportive, etc... but the same goes for women.

That is correct. Only the ones who don't know how to be a man abuse children and women! It is a low person to beat on a woman or child.
