Better stats on less carries and he cost his team WAT less money. He is more durable and he does not FUMBLE like Mr. Bush who already has 5 this year.

reb (assuming you're not being facetious -- and if you are I'm still going to use you as a sounding board), Bush setting the record for most catches by a rookie RB doesn't change the fact he is getting smoked by Jones-Drew as a complete player in the pros. Ooh, he broke a record set by the immortal Earl Cooper! Had you ever heard of Earl Cooper before? That's how meaningful that record is.

He caught all those passes because the Saints were forced to get the ball in his hands primarily as a receiver rather than letting him take a hand off most of the time like a real RB because his YPC was pitiful. He's a one-trick pony that needs space to do anything meaningful and it seems defenses have already figured out the way to neutralize that is to hit him in the mouth every time he touches the ball and he wilts. Jones-Drew on the other hand relishes contact and will run defenders over if their technique isn't perfect.

When I was referencing his record on Saints Report I noticed they claim his 88 yard touchdown against Chicago is the longest play in NFC Championship history. I guess they missed Ronde Barber's 92 yard INT return to ice the '02 NFC Championship. It takes spin and outright falsehoods to prop him up and keep the B-word at bay, and that will only last so long.

Jones-Drew by a mile.

Reggie Bust is the most over hyped over rated player in the NFL.He fumbles , drops passes , can't block , and worst of all runs sideways for no gain when there are clearly big holes striaght ahead for 5-6 yard gains.

The only player that even comes close to being as overrated as Reggie Bust is Vince Dung.I call him that because he plays like ****.He's just a slower version of Vick with a less powerfull arm.If the Titans didn't have a great defense and good running game they'd be 0-11 right now.

Maurice Jones-Drew is by far waaaaay better than bush. I have jones-drew and picked him up as an xtra addition to a trade. Everyone said that he stunk and was overrated, but the next week he got me 30 fantasy points with a 3 or 4 touchdown game. Bush is slower, weaker, and a less of a "defensive" player as Jones-Drew....remember that hit on the interception?

The numbers fairly help Jones-Drew being the extra advantageous back. He has extra yards from scrimmage and TDs than Bush does over the final 12 months-and-a-a million/2. the traditional yards consistent with touch isn't even close. Jones-Drew averages 6.4 yards consistent with touch from scrimmage on an identical time as Bush is 4.9. Bush has been a great participant on an identical time as Jones-Drew has been a super participant for the Jags.

Yes MJD has been better then Bush. MJD is splitting carries and playing time with Taylor while due to injury Bush is the main back for the saints. If he was so good he would have carried the load and shown what he can do. I think he is nothing more then a over rated 3rd down back in this league. he will never be a every down franchise style RB.

Jones Drew is a much better player. Bush could get there but he is a better speed guy who can run after the catch where as Jones Drew can do the same as well as but also pound it up the middle.

Reggie Bush is just a big name.

Reggie needs to start eating more Subway sandwiches to get strength for the games. If his game doesn't pick up over the next couple of seasons, he will be selling subs, not advertising them.
