because Favre kept rushing the ball and was getting pressured. Rodger made better throws and he ran the ball himself for twice for 1st downs. Overall, Rodgers was more comfortable and made better decision then Favre.

Btw... because of that game, Favre QB ratings dropped from 101.7% to 97.8%. Very sad football game for The Legend.

Every quarterback has a bad game once in a while,Brett is no different, the sensational season he was having was bound to take a few bumps,do not be surprise if he comes out next week or the following week and throws 5 or 6 touchdown passes,he is that good of a quarterback,by the way,I'm a Cowboy fan that thinks the Cowboys won because as a team they are better than the Packers and just slightly behind the Patriots, but that could change by playoff time

I know this answer won't be popular with most but it's because Favre is an egomaniac. This is his biggest flaw. Don't get me wrong, I think he is top 10 if not top 5 all time but he has to have the spotlight in the big game. The Pack has won 10 games this year because Favre has allowed his defense to help win games. He has taken what opposing defenses have given him and trusted that his own defense would do the job. Last night he reverted back to last year by trying to win the game by himself. He went back to being the uncontrolled gunslinger that we've been accustomed to seeing, the loose cannon that caused a lot of experts to comment that he should retire.

Well, the Cowboys defensive plan and strategy was based on pressuring Favre. That changed after they put him out of the game. Also, as we can see on offense. Romo was on fire because of the competition against Favre. Once he was out, Dallas's offense and defense kinda lost their mojo. I'm glad it was a good game though, because when Favre was in, the Boy were blowin the Packers away. Hopefully Brett will be ok and hopefully we'll see anothr Romo/Favre matchup in the NFC championship game.

I do agree this isn't a similar Favre from years in the past. He were doing this for a lot of his occupation. a lifeless ringer for what you suggested, yet he replaced heritage. 2007: Favre threw an interception and lead the NFC championship pastime into previous established time and gave the giants a danger at a FG. 2008: The Patriots, Dolphins and Jets were on the right 3 combating for a playoff spot. -The Jets needed a win for them and a expenditures win over the patriots for them to make it into the playoff. -The patriots needed the Jets to win and them to win for them to make it in. -The Dolphins needed The Win and the patriots to win or expenditures to lose in order to make it in. there change into no way that the Jets might want to are transforming into in. because the expenditures change right into a susceptible crew and everyone knew that the patriots change into going to win. 2009: an interception from this guy despatched the NFC Championship pastime into previous established time between the Vikings and the saints, Which replaced the approach the NFL. The FG in previous established time rule change into replaced

Because the game was over by the time Brett left... The rest of the game was Dallas bored out their mind... When they had to put the game away the defense and offense did their part really quick...They let Green Bay think they came back...

Nobody has film on Rodgers, so it was a blank slate coming into the game. You can never discount a scouting report based on regular season action to better prepare for a player in a skill position.

Different war plan. TRhey played Zone because they didn't knwo anything about Rodgers and thought they could intercept . Didn't rush because he was mobile.

Dallas de is only as good as the quarterback who doesn't scramble. They are over rated in my estimation.

Wait Boys till the championship game. The pack let the Cowboys win so they could beat them at the really big one....
