I have your attention!

Today I finally asked out my really cute, sweet chem partner that I've been working up the nerve to for quite some time. Her response was really...

"You? Go out with you?" (She says this coolly)
"Yes, me, who else?" (Something's wrong)
She looks me up and down.
"You are asking me out, ME? (Her tone is rising)
"Uh...yes. Is there a problem?" (By now I'm regreting this)
"This is unbelievable!" (Believe me people, this was not in a good tone)
"Did I do something...?" (Oh God)

She doesn't say anything for a minute, then she explodes!

"I can't believe this! I don't date guys like you, you-.....jocks, with your ****** up parties and *********, and just thinking you can do whatever the ****, and **** who ever you want! Girls like me don't date arrogant asses like you!
Just because I'm quiet and nerdy and don't get invites to all the parties doesn't mean that I'm gonna be pathetic enough to sleep with you, gosh!"

Um...I was thinking dinner and a movie or something

I don't even act like what she thinks I does!

Long story short, she called a pretty boy (is that really a bad thing? Do I even look like one? http://s214.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/gci_333/ a ******* douche, and she told me that she wasn't stupid.

Um...any ideas what happened here?

What should I do?

You can also email me any advice you have, I'm a nice guy.

Oh yeah, EVERYONE in the lab heard this. I don't know how I'm gonna show up to school on Monday now.

well your hot, but i bet you already knew that.
take it in stride and act like it dosent bother you... or you can tell people that you lost a bet and that you had to sleep with her. but then people will think your a jerk.

if you really like her you could always try and prove your not like what she thinks and ask her again. or go to her house and ask her. show up monday with flowers for her, if that doesn't get her it will get someone else.

what grade are you in?

best of luck to ya

Sounds like that girl needs an attitude adjustment. Your right, she was out of line and she did to you, what she was saying she hates.

What you should have done when she did what she did, was respond quickly with a comment like, "Why are you the pot, calling the Kettle Black, your doing to me exactly what your accusing me of doing"

Then tell her that your very sorry to have bothered to ask her out, that you were under the misconception that she was a nice girl.

You deserve better then that, no one has the right to act as she did.

So with respect to going back on Monday, just hold your head up high and no matter what any one else says, your the one that is walking the high road, don't let it bother you.

Your lucky she didn't say she would go out with you, she sounds like she would not be much fun anyway, she is a snob and she doesn't even know it!

Change your image, it would appear that her click of friends see your click of Friends as the things she called you. IT seems that she probably has a closer relationship with her dad than the average high school girl. (her dad has taught her that boys only want into her panties) But, if you are honest with her, after a while she may talk some, then a date. After enough dates she will see you for what you are, (if you are honest) not what she thinks you are today. (if you are not honest her dad will know and either shoot you or convince her you are a fake)

hehe....sorry to hear that man! It sounds like this girl had some predetermined assumptions about you and people like you that may or may not be true about you, I don't know.

I think if she's too stuck up to just lump everyone into groups without getting to know them individually, then she's not even worth your time!

Hey, you'll probably laugh about this in a few years!

Hon, you can Easily show up on Monday. She is way out on a limb. Don't worry about her anymore. She embarrassed Herself, Not You, and surely everyone knows that. She will grow up someday and hopefully she will be sociable. Find a nicer girl to date.

Well, she has a problem. You tell this story very well. Save it. You will enjoy telling it later.
