My school server has files on it that I need for a project, but I don't know how to connect to the server using Windows XP, only Mac OS X but, unfortunately, I don't have a Mac and it's a pain for me to ask to use someones Mac just to connect to the server and email the files to myself. Please help!

I don't know how to access my school server with my PC. I have my own username and password, I just need to learn how to get to the point that you plug them in.

You will need get with your School's System Administrator.
There is no such thing as a server you can not connect to.
Either you need to be issued a CSID to get on the schools server. This will include a specific Username and Password.
Although there could be an issue accessing particular files that were made with Mac specific software that you can't open with a PC, but I doubt it very seriously this is the case.
