Conquistador's Weapon

Francisco Pizarro, a nearly illiterate Spanish conquistador, conquered the grand Incan Empire in Peru with a force of some 106 foot soldiers, 62 downtrodden horses - and gunpowder.

[Gunpowder also enabled Baber, the first Mogul emperor of India, and his 10,000 men to defeat an army of 100,000 led by Sultan Ibrahim, the North Indian Afghan king, on the North Indian plain in 1526.]
