I would fight for both- I would never want my country to become another Palestine or Iraq.
As much as I abhore some of our politics and ethnocentricity, noone has the right to oppress others. I would proudly stand on the frontlines to defend the people of my country.

I personally am so anti-war that I would run away to another country that is not at war.
I hate that our President feels the need to encourage racial hatred toward Middle Easterners with this war on terror focusing only on the Middle East and of that group, we as a country, are targetting Muslims. It's not fair. I am almost ashamed to be an American with the way our country has been governed for the last 7 years!

What are the Iraqi people really doing in Iraq? They are fighting against invaders who had no right or solid reason to invade! They are fighting for the preservation of a government they cared about before we(the USA) rushed in to help the minority take over a country. Most people don't realize that the UNited States are the bad guys in the War in Iraq. Yes, Saddam Huessein did some awful things, but the majority of the Iraq did not want to fight against him. Our government invaded because we thought they had WMDs, which was false. We took them over, they were no major threat to us! Yes, some powerful people in their country may have indirectly funded some of the terrorists of 9/11, but does that mean we take the entire country out? Or should we have hunted for those few people? We as a country are wrong about this one and I can only hope that people will realize it and stand up for the Patriot Act, "...That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government..." Are we not being destructive? Should we not get Bush out of power according to our own Patriot Act?

I think that the best place for my family is here, so fighting for my country would also be fighting for them. If anyone feels that this is not a good place to live, feel free to leave anytime, either Canada or Mexico are easy to get to.
