Because if they dont go over there and fight, the fight will end up here, and the fanatical muslims will take over and if you dont care about your freedoms, you dont care about the choice to who you are with, the choice of your religion, or any other freedoms we have then by all means let it come back here. We will loose our freedoms to the nutty muslims( the fanatical ones)

Because that's where the terrorist cells are allowed to form and grow. Countries with economies that are disconnected from the rest of the world like Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan are ideal places for these types of activity to be allowed.

A solution is to engage those countries into globalization, by force if necessary, to promote stability and security in the region.

Until that happens, if we didn't have troops overseas fighting for our freedom, we would be holding more memorials and cleaning up more 9/11 messes.

our troops are like us regular citizens. we have no idea of the agenda of the government we just do as we are told. alot of the troops know that their not fighting for freedom but for oil, rich to get richer, etc. . i have a buddy going to Iraq, and all he can talk about is just wanting to kill someone. so every soldier goes to war for his own reasons even if that reason is just an order.

The idea initially was to get at the terrorist who caused 911, but it's lost it's way a lot it would seem. But as soon as the Coalition re-focus on their initial objective i.e. 'The terrorist's' Then the sooner the guy's will be safely home with their family's. Have a great day.

Because sometimes people make poor decisions and don't know how to get out of them. They're not fighting for our freedom, though. The only thing I can advise you to do without sounding biased is to research the reasons that are published for our going to war, and to talk to people who have been fighting in said war.
