what the question said, I was just curious?

It's the way we've been conditioned psychologically. Our brains have been conditioned to recognize sound, language and acknowledge culture. Tuck sounds the same as f*ck, but because you recognize by customs that the latter is a bad word you know not to use it in polite company

If you were in a Japan and heard a cuss word in their language it probably wouldn't phase you because you haven't been conditioned psychologically by custom and language.

At least some of them were once perfectly respectable words.
The F word was an ordinary verb in Anglo Saxon, meaning to have sex, and the C word was an ordinary noun, meaning that part of a woman's body.
Words move up and down the scale of social acceptability.

Others, (such as 'jeez' for Jesus, 'blimey' for God blind me, 'bloody' for by our lady ) are versions of blasphemous language, which is more acceptable in modern society than it was 50 years ago.

Hope this helps
