i have English cousins, i have nothing against the English except the ones who think that England is the most important country in the UK.
I want independance because we can stand on our own two feet.
Best thing to come out of England?
Lancashire people
Liverpudlians
Geordies
They are great and very funny.
Most of all tho I am a patriotic true Scot who will defend my country to the hilt. It's the best place to live.

Dr Watson, it was written a few years ago that the reason there are so much Scots on TV is that people like the accent. Statistics also showed that a mild Scots accent is comforting to people. the same way that i love a Liverpool accent. I could listen to it all day.

Encanter....sorry pal but if you were a true Scot you wouldn't talk like that about the country you claim to be proud of. I know if I every left it i would miss it like hell.

I'm Scottish but live in England just now and I have sort of mixed feelings towards the English.Most are nice enough but some are really racist the second they hear a Scottish accent.Then again when I'm home in Scotland I've often seen racism to the English so I suppose we can be as bad.
I think independence should happen and I think we'd probably get on with the English better once we were free from them than we do now.

Some of the stuff from Scotland direct to the English is just small minded insecure Nationalism.
The English are above that as a mature confident nation.
However alot of the Scots are ok... intelligent and mature too... god knows they've run England for past 10+ years. Tony Blair... Gordon Brown ect.

I have no bias towards any creed and am a Scot!! You get a55h0l35 in this world don't matter what they are!!! Tae answer ye question, yes i always like tae see us beat ye at football or tiddlywinks, but thats just a friendly rivalry!! I have many English good friends which i treasure!! Don't think its where yer from, but who you are as a person that counts!!! I´m a Scot who now lives in Spain. I´m still proud to be Scottish but if I never see the place again it won´t worry me. At least it doesn´t rain so much here.

I'm Welsh and its similar here. My other half is English and I love him to bits! I think most English people are really nice folk and I have a lot of respect for them.
You do get the odd anti-English ranter but mostly its just morons who don't know the difference between on the rugby field and off it.

The vast majority of Scots like the English. The English just seem to get confused when we don't support their football team. Just 'cos we support independence or hope that Germany beat you on penalties again doesn't actually mean we don't like you :)

I don't know but a lot of Scottish TV folk seem to like having jobs with the BBC on English television - so England is obviously good for something !!!

as an english man i dont care too much what other nationality's think of us,many come to live among us anyway including scots,i hope scotland votes for independence but it wont go it alone it will sell its sole too europe look at the scottish bank notes very euro we english will also have a choice and it wont be within europe the americans wont let us go

most are all right but it the ones that put down the Scots and welsh and Irish that spoil it for the rest of the English it only takes a few to get stereo cast
