My husband and I have been ttc for quite some time now and I was just curious as to when you start feeling as if you might actually be pregnant. Has anyone ever felt there was something different with your body or had strange sensations and sure enough you were pregnant? If so, what were the clues. Yes, I know all about the early pregnancy symptoms but I kinda want to read peoples experiences.

We had been trying to conceive for three months before we got pregnant. My breasts hurt, I felt sick and I swore I was pregnant and wasn't.

The month I finally got the positive I was pretty sure that I wasn't. I felt like my period was about to start. I felt lots of cramping like aunt flow was on her way...in fact, I would run to the bathroom with a tampon in hand just to find nothing. I've heard this is pretty common. I was also incredibly tired...I fell asleep around 8-9 each night, which was pretty early for me then. This is kind of gross but I also had a high increase in discharge. And I was cried watching Grey's Anatomy...and that is SOOOO unlike me! Other than that, I felt pretty normal! My breasts were a little sore but not as sore as when I had PMS. I don't think any of my pregnancy symptoms started until I implanted, about a week before I tested.

I tested the day my period was due and got my positive.

Good luck, I hope you get your positive soon!!!

10 Days Post Ovulation Pregnancy Symptoms

If you know for sure when you ovulated it takes about a week from that day to when the embryo implants in the uterus. As for me personally I got sicker then a dog about a week before my period was due. The first time around I figured it was the flu and let it go until after 2 weeks the symptoms didn't clear up. With my daughter I knew almost immediately. I even ovulated earlier then "normal" for my cycle. The very first thing I noticed before the morning sickness and tender breasts was that I had severe gassy tummy. It sounded like I was some guy at a bar downing pitchers of beer! LOL Kinda funny since one day we had been outside and my 3 year old fell over laughing since I burped so loudly it echoed off the other houses!

After the fertilized egg implants, which occurs 6-10 days past ovulation, HCG rises which causes the symptoms. Levels are usually high enough for noticeable symptoms around the time of a missed period.

Of course we all know the medical stuff.
After seven years of fertility treatment we never thought it would happen for us. Don't exactly know how or why but i "just knew" at the time of conception.Meaning I knew minutes after intercourse. We now have two wonderful kids and yes it happened again with our second child. Maybe im just a bit weird.Hubby would now run a mile if i said im pregnant.

I noticed symptoms at 9days before my period was due, about 5-6dpo. I had sore and swollen breasts, increased cervical mucus and severe tiredness. I didn't get a BFP until 3 days after my missed period.
