myboyfriend and i have been going out for amost 5 months and we started seeing each other a little less because we always saw each other...he told me that he needed a little space and when i saw him he was really loveable and cuddling with me and whatever...when im not with him he never calls me during the week and we only see each other on the weekends...it seems like he doesnt care anymore...what does he mean by this?

It probably means he is busy during the week and like many guys does not want to yak on the phone for hours every night.
As you get older you will come to realize that a good relationship is about quality, not quantity.
If your time together is quality ,feel fortunate.

There are better ways to explain our opinions.
He just needs some time for himself, or needs to spend time with family or etc. If you care about him, you will allow this. You have only been together a short time. Unless you really want to end it, fighting or not allowing him to do this, will certianly do that for you.
It's not a bad thing. Just give him his time, tell him so. He will appreciate it. Wait awhile. There is nothing wrong with calling him on the phone to see how he is doing. Feel free to let him know you miss him. If he cares about you, he won't be thinking about just himself.

He's showing you exactly what it means. The relationship is beginning to fade away and he's really not being disrespectful.
All you should do now is tell him you got the message and then say goodbye. His reaction will tell all. Whatever you do, don't cry and beg for him to come back. Keep your self respect. Good Luck
