full democracy is a goverment run country and not a dictator....the Goverment tho very sluggish is still beginning to run its own country and distributing goverment funding and processes of infastructure, on its own accord .

I lived through this once in the Vietnam era when a bunch of politicians were getting a lot of young men killed while they played their political games. I am not wise enough to know whether we did the right thing or not by invading another country but I do know that we should honor those people who are over there and I do know that they need our prayers.

DEM are unpatriotic . True Iraq was a mess to get into .. But now after 3000+ American soldiers have died in Iraq for freedom and now that we are so close to democracy they gonna mess up all the hard work ..

Wat doesn't make sense to me is that we have 100000+ troops over there already.
Why do u have to make a big deal about increasing troop numbers . Our military is so stressed out dealing with those terrorist attacks they need all the help they can get to get the job done quickly .
Surge will only help our soldier's down there.
Democrats need to decide who s side they are on in this war.

The "political battle" between the demoncrats, and Repulsive-cans is the major problem with the US. We can not solve any problems with these two groups at each others throats, It no longer matters so much what is right and wrong but who wins the political battle. The losers are the people and the brave men and women who fight for us.

"Getting better and closer to full democracy??" (your words). Does that mean, the end of that war is coming to an end right. Now, that kinda sounds like the discussions on Armageddon. "Its getting closer and closer. The signs are closing in. The time is almost upon us." When, when, when??

It ain't getting THAT much better in Iraq - it's still a hell hole of a shooting gallery, with our military being the sitting ducks.

BTW, the troop surge isn't what's responsible for the reduced carnage, it's the fact that the US has taken sides in the civil war, effectively removing about half of those who would do us harm.

Guess what the other half is preparing to do? Or are you that impressionable and vulnerable to Bushian propaganda?
