We are taking a short day trip tomorrow to an art museum in the next state (his idea). For the trip, I bought a CD by his favorite band that was just released this week. I am planning on popping it in the player after we leave the city limits, and ask him how he likes his present. :-)
Any other ideas for a fun trip? We are going to come home the same day.

Your day sounds great, why not just be happy with that? How about a nice romantic dinner or an indulgent dinner of really good pizza or something you both like.
I would be very happy if my husband came up with any idea of what we should do.

It depends on what kind of trip your wanting to take. A real vacation or a short one day trip. If you want to go on a vacation I recommend the Myan Riviara, the best vacation I've been on. If your wanting a short trip, I'd surprise him with another place to go after the museum.

If it's not too cold where you live, how about a pic nic lunch, with his favorite foods. Play a trivia game on the way, they have travel sets. Men always like a friendly game of competition to see who is smarter on certain subjects.
