I think if our troops in Iraq are attacked from Iran they should counterattack. If Iran wants war let them start it.

What ever happened to the good old days when the CIA would just take out the leader?

I've heard the average Iranian doesn't buy all that "Muhammad wants you to nuke the Jews" crap anyway, so it'd be a shame to kill millions of regular Joes just because a few yahoos at the top are jonesing for a jihad.

There's also the question of whether enough testicles remain in our "Gee I miss the '60s" congress to persue and honest to God shooting war. If the low casualities in Iraq make them whine like Paris Hilton in jail, how are they going to manage Vietnam or WWII casualty rates likely in an Iranian war?

It will never happen.

1. We can't afford the effects on the price of oil.

2. The US really doesn't care if Iran has the bomb because no one in their right mind would ever use a nuclear weapon. Retaliation would equal total destruction.
