Hi Manda-

I am a recent transplant to AZ from California. I took the internet approach like you are doing. Most of the cities here start their websites with the www. then the name of the town. Then AZ. Then dot gov. I don't know what city area you are trying to research, but here are some examples.

www.goodyearaz.gov
www.buckeyeaz.gov
www.avondaleaz.gov

Also checkout the news venues. The paper most widely read in the Phoenix area is AZRepublic. The westside of the Phoenix valley is www.westvalleyview.com A local TV news station is www.12news.com. Without knowing where you may relocate to it's difficult to be specific.

These sources contain ads. The city websites show the goals of the cities and the population data. Follow the links for school info, etc...etc.

Hope this was of some help to you.

Have a safe year.
Tom
