How many times do you forgive a person ... and do you still let them in your life?

There's a big difference between forgiving them and therefore setting yourself free from the anger of resentment and letting them back to hurt you again. It depends upon what they have done, but sometimes once is more than enough, sometimes twice, but too many people let abusers do it again and again.

It depends on what they have done, and then it depends how many times they did it, for example my older brother had stolen from on more than one occasion and tried to take advantage of me whenever i was in a situation where he had the upper hand on me, so in that case now that i don't live with him, i don't even contact him anymore , i made it known that he is not to be apart of my life at all.

i forgive but i NEVER EVER forget which is sucky and rigid of me but it who i am i tend to hang on to things and i would not depending on the transgression let said person back because history will always repeat itself always

if you really trull love them then you forgive em but if you do dont let them into your life right away because then they may not learn to not hurt you again

I try to forgive someone a lot and yes I do.
Unless they comitt a serious offence like cheating on someone, rape, abuse, or killing. Then I look down on them badly.
