Hello Ray,

Q: Does your laptop have a built-in wireless-N network adapter? Most all laptops sold these days come with at least a wireless-b/g adapter.

1. Any brand of wireless-n adapters will work.
2. A usb wireless adapter is a device (looks like a usb flash drive) that will plug into your usb port on your laptop. You can use a pcmcia adapter, but the usb adapters are easier to use. They are "plug-n-play".

USB wireless adapters can be bought anywhere; even Walmart.

any old wireless will do ya, except maybe an older 802.11a card.
As for the usb, it's just another way to do the same thing. pcmcia or usb. different bus, same results more or less.
