No most of us can't...but we can darn well try.Some of us are fortunate or detemind or courageous enough to find oursleves and be that one personality that suits us down to the ground..and to have others admire and notice it in us, even envy it.Many of us dont have the guidance, or the opportunity, especailly young people, who can be inhibited by their peers, parents, their own fears and failings, and the media from striking out as an individual.

I am mostly who I want to be. When I am by myself, I am much more free. I would like to be that person. I sing and dance and do goofy things when I'm alone, or at home with just my young kids. Once an adult.. any adult.. including my boyfriend- enters the house, I don't EVER sing or dance. Not even "happy birthday". Isn't that sad? Guess I'm too shy that way.

Yes, I consider myself lucky. I'm a gay senior citizen, and many friends of my own generation never lived to feel that way.

Yes, and I am. I could care less what others think of me. I want to be happy, they can hate me if they want to. (But most don't lol, I have lots of friends.)
