It means you have to be at the job site in order to do the work.

If it's at an office, then that means you have to go in every day, instead of working from home.

If it's the type of job that is done at other locations, then it means you have to go to those locations, and not stay in the office.

It means that you become the part of website, and you have to work for it from their office or their workplace, On the other hand there is remote work, which is totally opposite to on site work.
