Btw i've got nothing against mules and how they look, but i'd prefer it if people did actually think and know that he is a horse.
Stupid question i know, but i'm just curious, so if theres nothing nice to say then don't say it, because thats how questions like these are started :)

You can tell it's a horse it's quite obvious that he is one. Some, not so intelligent people that don't know jack about horses might call it a mule. But yes, his head, the shape of it and all, does look just a bit like a mule's. Regardless of that, it's a very pretty horse, lovely mane, and there ain't a thing wrong with it. Don't matter what it looks like so long as it's a good horse! And DON'T cut any of his mane, unless it's getting in the way or becoming too long. I hate it when people basically wreck their horses manes by cutting them to high hell.
By the way, out of curiosity..how many hands is he?

No, he doesn't look like a mule. He's a beautiful Haflinger. Maybe people who are not educated about horses or mules might get confused but not someone who knows horses. Halfingers are rather small in height with a large bone structure which is somewhat similar to a mule - but that's the only similarity.

No he doesn't really look like a mule. The only characteristic that would look anything like a mule on him is the lighter coloring around the muzzle. He is beautiful though, I LOVE halflingers!

Haha. No he does not look like a mule. He looks like a haflinger to me. Don't worry what other people see about your horse. It's what you see in your horse that counts. Good luck!

I don't see mule. I do see the Halflinger. People see that light colored muzzle and think mule or donkey. He looks like a haflinger.

no not in the slightest, he looks like a cold weather horse with a nice warm winter coat, has typical small pony ears, no way has a mule ever been within 1000 miles of him or any relations!

Wow he is so cute!!! I love Halflingers. Your horse doesn't look like a mule at all!!!! Some people just think that because of the white. He is very pretty, I'm jealous!!!

I think he looks more like a Fjord!!! The only reason people say that he looks like a mule is because his muzzle has white. He's gorgeous!!! I love the look in his eye in the 1st pic.

Heck, no--he doesn't look like a mule! Mules have much longer ears, broader foreheads. That's a pretty horse, for sure.

No, it's just ignorant people trying to be rude when they probably don't even own a horse. There is no way that he could be confused with a mule. I wouldn't give it a second thought, just another example of dumb, stupid people trying to upset others for their own gratification.
