Being the longest-lived person?
Actually, I don't really care what I'm remembered for. Fame has just never been important to me.

you have to do something pretty drastic to be remembered for a very long time. I do not know that I would achieve such status. I suppose I would like to be the first to program a very advanced Artificial Intelligence that compares with human intelligence. I want to make one for a pirate game I am writing, but one that gets smarter and smarter the more you play against him.... and the more people all over the world play against him. Things evolve because of stress. I want him to fight to survive against millions of players. He will die a lot, but I think he will also get stronger if properly made. I want to be remembered for creating that. I wonder how it might turn out?
Probably pretty crappy.... but it is just a hobby so who cares?

You don't have to do something as drastic as suggested by many people on here, to be remembered... our loved ones pass on memories.
...There's usually at least one person who will remember you for some reason or other...
I wouldn't mind being remembered for inspiring thought in my family and with others.

For making a difference in the people's lives that I had an opportunity to effect. I think that the number of teary eyes during your eulogy will be directly related to the meaning of your existence.
