At the end of the day THEY have done NOTHING wrong, THEY are just following the law of THEIR land? Let's put this into perspective folks, a school teacher who didn't do HER homework ignorantly moved to a foreign country obviously expecting THEY would follow HER rights. Well, frankly that's just not good enough, especially for a 57 year old teacher who should know better. She, and remember ignorance is no defense in any court, is the culprit. Not you, not me, and not Teddy. If she did the crime I think she should do the time.
End of.
(And before all you self-righteous tossers reply just remember how liberally teachers handed out the belt at school for you not doing your homework.)
THUMBS UP SUDAN.

NOBODY is DISRESPECTING Sudan!!!
The KIDS in the class picked the NAME of the teddy bear!!!!!!
HOW MANY times do you have to hear this (or read it) until it sinks in??
If the Sudanese want to get upset, they should get upset at themselves for not teaching their children that you do not name a teddy bear "Mohammed"!!!!
Additionally, it is a small group of militants that are causing the hate!

I think it's Sudan who are disrespectful. That woman went there to do good. To help children have a chance at education. It was probably English people that set up the school in the first place. So she made an error of Judgement?? Big deal. I'm sure the good that she contributed to the nation was far greater than the teddy bears name. Sudan is ungrateful. They have lost a good teacher and I doubt others will want to go there now.

She is doing the time but that is not good enough for the Sudans who now want her to pay with her life - a little harsh for giving a teddy the wrong name! What excuse does Sudan have for their continual mass murder in Darfur? Incidentally, it was the children who named teddy Mohammed - shouldn't they be paying the price for their crime - surely if their religion is sooooooo important to them, the parents would have made is clear from the minute they were born that soft toys should not be named after their prophet. Off with their heads!

I respect Sudan. I was surprised to know that thousands rallied the streets demanding to have her executed, though.
Did she instruct, order, convinced or influenced on the children to break the law? Was it that she only allowed them to do it? What is the law in regards to that? She was already sentenced to be deported and imprisoned. If that's the law, then, Why wasn't her sentenced to death to begin with? Does that mean that the people misinterpret the law and want to take justice on their own hands or was it that the judge ignored the law?
You see? Events in Sudan are causing a lot of eyebrows to be raised.

We disrepect Sudan because we are following our laws which give us free speech. We can say anything we like about Sudan and we can follow our ways and our laws.
You should know this since you're so concerned about respecting laws of different countries.
Shambo gets an F and free speech gets an A+

Sudan shows the ignorance and evil that Islam truly is. So you support Saudi Arabia's right to whip a rape victim? Is the law of their land, isn't it? People like you make want to throw up. You're worse than Islamic fundamentalists: you appease them.

Where is the regulation/Sharia law items that says you can't name a toy after Mohammed? You are defending a country that is murdering its own Muslim (black) brothers in a large land grab (and previously murdered Christians in the South of Sudan). I think you should find another country to defend.

Because only in some god forsaken muslim run country would it BE a crime to name a teddy bear mohammed.
How was she to know that doing something so innocent and apparently innocuous would BE a crime at all?
