I cover my eyes at the scene where Toto pulls back the curtain to reveal the white-haired Frank Morgan speaking through the microphone, especially when there's a close-up of Frank Morgan pulling back the curtain which the camera has a close-up of the shimmering silk bright-green curtain swoosh by as the voice yells "PAY NO ATTENTION TO THAT MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!".

I never cover my eyes but I always get the willies when Dorothy is calling Auntie Em in the crystal ball,and the witch shows up in the crystal ball..

I don't cover my eyes at any scene in the Wizard of Oz. There isn't anything scary in that movie at all.
