Hello Hun.
Lol i think myspace may-be a big deal to drop it like its hot.
This isnt a debate its a question.
And I think the age should be 16 and up because the maturity thing most young girls are very Neieve! To strangers.
But anyways it gets old way fast. I look at mine like maybe once every 2 weeks its just not a big deal anymore.
But I hope that helped.

What do you think of myspace?

I think it's boring. I only use it to add bands and listen to those bands every now and again. My friends post useless bulletins which can be annoying if my eye strays in that direction. On the plus side, I can keep in touch with people that live far away and moved on since college. However, sometimes attempts to keep in touch are useless. It's also useful to point people in the right direction of gift giving, but you didn't hear that from me.

Should teens be allowed to use this website?

Yes, it's not exclusively a dating site or pornographic. Teens would do it anyway. Before myspace there were lots of other communities that were less secure and more sexually vulgar. Teens signed up for those too. Quit being a prude.

What age should someone be allowed to use it?

If you can read, you can use it. The thing is that myspace doesn't become interesting until the individual is about 12. Sure, there are some exceptions, but honestly it shouldn't be a big problem for anyone. If you're a parent who does not trust your kids, then block them from it like all the other parents who do not trust their kids.

Myspace is not that big of a deal and has barely existed for four years. Anyone remember findapix? Who uses THAT anymore?

I really don't think it's a good idea to have and I also think that it should be restricted to ages 18+. I also they should restrict the type of content and photos that are allowed to be viewed. Too many bad things happen to young teens because of these types of web sites. They really don't know who they are talking to. It could be some perv or worse who end up manipulating these kids into reveling personal information which could get them into trouble. Also, these teens who use the site put too much info on it as it is. The site should be shut down.

I believe that a 13 year-old age limit is appropriate. It does open the door to possible exploitation by older and less scrupulous individuals. However, at 13, you enter into the "teen" age group, technically, and should be more than able to control what you post online.

yeah. teens are all who needs to use it. friends can connect with you, you can make plans, do whatever. its old people who need to stay off a teen/young adult's website. i mean, come on. at 35+ years old, shouldnt you have enough of a life to stay off those sites? get a job!

but alot of kids are too young. like i know about five ten-year-olds that have a myspace and go on everyday. that is also nuts. even worse than old people.
