Just forget about them and think about your future like what it will end up being. We have pregnant girls in my school and this is 7th grade and then some people are the top and some are smarter then some students in college. Think about what your life would be if you focus more on boys or more on your studies. I'm one of the top so don't think any thoughts plz.

Haha, seriously boys ARE a distraction.
If you have msn messenger, use less time on it. It's addictive. So is myspace and all of those websites.
When you get home from school, don't sit around doing nothing, cause your mind will trail off. Do your homework! Study and make sure you are getting everything in your classes. Calling people or chatting online comes last!
- - I know, it's so friggin hard to do, but if you're thinking too much about a certain guy or just boys in general that you're getting bad grades, start setting up a schedule for yourself! =]

Don't try to be a prude or unsociable; you'll just make yourself unhappy. If you feel a boyfriend would make you happier, then get one. Just doing school work or hanging with girl-friends who probably have boyfriends can get boring as well.
Nothing's wrong or distracting with having a boyfriend. It can be fun, you know, and make you more focused on school work by making you more happy. The more you try to put something out of your mind, the harder it is to forget it. School work is usually boring, and you might be having concentration problems because of that, and you're just using boys as a reason. Get a boyfriend and relax.
The happier you are the more healthier you are and the more focused you are.

Be involved in a lot of after school activities like clubs offered at your school or some career explorations.
Also try to hang more with the smarter kids or the geeks in your school / clubs that way you can still keep some focus on the work while having some fun.

Well, other than being put into an all girls boarding school, your focus is going to keep sliding towards the boys, it's only natural, teens curious and attracted to the opposite sex, however, it's a matter of willpower.
If your grades slip into that dangerous territory, your parents will probably get you refocused or ground you till you're 18. Boys will always be around, school is one time only.

I'm also 14 and I find that its easier to study when you thought of all the bad things about guys
for instance
1. They are somtimes gross
After that study
And really focus maybe listen to music or somthing while you're doing it

It's hard when your a teenage girl not to think about boys, it just natural. Try to think about what you want to do when you grow up. What you learn in class and your grade will help you achieve whatever you want to do, but you have to pay attention to do well. Also, think of the immediate rewards of doing well such as how you will feel if you are successful, proving yourself to the teacher, and making your family proud. Try to think about these whenever you feel your mind wandering. Best of luck!

LOL you're not really 14 because if you were you wouldn't be asking this question and 14 year olds dont say "focus more on studies". How about joining school clubs that interest you that will get you more focused on yourself.

It's simple. Whenever you have the chance of either going out, or studying, you study.
It has to be your own motivation that gets you into your studies, not everyone else's. So try something that will motivate you into doing it.
