You don't get it because you aren't nuts. Why do nut cases do anything that they do?
Seriously, this isn't like some of the goofy things we say on Y!A or dumb things that people do (like over-react to things or even being depressed), there are people out there that are truly in their own world and sick (I mean in an illness way). It's a sad fact of life. Fortunately there aren't many of them and there are people in law enforcement trained in dealing with them.

Rightwing nuts would love to get Hillary and Obama but they've got Secret Service details. Their campaign headquarter have no security and are easy targets.

I think he was hoping Hillary would be there. Who knows exactly what he wanted to gain, but it was apparently an act of terrorism.
Unfortunately, there are sick individuals right here on Y!A who supports that terrorist...
