My disk drive is stuck. The blinking light turns on when I try, but nothing works. I've even tried using a knife to pry it open. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. :(

Unfortunately, I have no paper clip. I've tried a toothpick, a pen, and even a small crew, but nothing works. Any other items that can fit?

Go to 'My Computer', then 'right click' on your CD drive and select 'Eject'.

this may help you out.
DRIVE HAS POWER BUT TRAY WON'T OPEN
You may experience the tray failing to open. Should this happen, press the button a couple times to see if it will open. If the tray fail to open, reboot your computer and try to open the tray.
When rebooting the system, notice the monitor to see if the drive is recognized by the computer. Some systems will not display installed hardware during bootup. If this is the case, you will have to access your BIOS to check if the dvd drive is being registered.
You can also try the manual eject button on the drive to get it to open. Use something very small but firm to press in the pinhole in front of the drive to open the tray.
Shut the computer off and unplug it. Use something like a long paperclip to insert in the pinhole to open the tray. The tray may open a couple inches and you can grab ti with your fingers to open it completely.
DO NOT USE FORCE, KNIFES USE YOUR BRAINS. paper clips are cheap bet some and keep for emergence's
sorry for being so blunt.

If the Eject CD from My Computer does not work, look on the from of the drive for a very small hole. It is just big enough for a paper clip to fit in there and manually eject the disk.
You can even reboot the computer and press the eject button before Windows starts up. That way you are accessing the drive directly instead of through Windows.

Not A Knife my friend, a bent paper clip:
On most tray loaded CD-rom drives there is a tiny pin hole that is designed to physically release tthe tray lock. You need to bend a paper clip, and gently um.. poke it in the hole... ;-)
The cd tray should release a fraction of an inch, and you can open it from there:

There should be a small hole on the front of your CD drive. Straighten out a paper clip and poke it in there. Out pops the CD drive! I've used this method often on many different computers.

There should be a little tiny hole on the front of the CD-ROM drive. Straighten a paper clip and push it into the tiny hole. Your CD drive will open.

There should be a small hole at the front. If you have a pin, or something small you could probably push into the hole, and the tray will pop out. Unbending a small paperclip is a good option. Never fails

Open your computer and remove and reinsert the power cable and the sata or IDE cable, if that didn't work, access the BIOS and make sure the cd drive shows up on the device, and as it being enabled.
