I didn't know about it until you emailed me about it recently. Thanks for the info.
I believe Bush and his cohorts are in a panic for any last minute decisions that they'll pull out all the stops to push through till he leaves office. Just another way for him to make another mess for someone else to clean up.
Sad!!
This is just another sign of the times when the world is going to hell in a handbasket so to speak when people like Bush are in charge of things.

Uh, never heard of this. But if it is a trading block like the EU then it is a good thing.
Here is why.
1: the Curency will be the dollar. With more countries trading goods and services in the dollar the price of the dollar will go up.
2: The exports of the United States will increase due to relxed terriff penalties and no currency exchange costs.
3: The price of labor will go down. Businesses will be able to locate any where whithin the union and not have to worry about trade laws. Local populations will benefit from an increase in jobs and wages and everyone will increase from reduced pricing on goods.
4: As a larger trading block we'll be able to leverage more from OPEC in terms of Oil prices. Mexico and Canada and the US have massive reserves of oil. Combing these nations as one trading block with the ability to survive with out OPEC oil the price of crude will drop.
5: China will no longer become the worlds largest supplier of cheap crap.
