the yankees know he's an ace (except for 2 awful playoff starts), plus the Twins know that with back to back 19 win seasons, he is due a big raise, which they are too cheap to pay.

Wang is a proven 19 win pitcher (2 consecutive years). And how much does he cost Yankees in compare to Johan Santana, Roger Clemens, or Carl Pavano?
Any Yankees fan would think it's unwise (and silly) to give up Wang for an expensive Santana.
On top of that, why can't Yankees keep a 19 win starter (Wang) and just add another 20 win pitcher (Santana)? Wang and Santana are not mutually exclusive to Yankee's rotation.

Wang is an almost-Cy Young winner and im sure he will win it soon enough, and the yankees know that. He is also underpaid which is good for the yankees organization but obviously i dont like it. And Wang might have a no-trade clause im not sure about that

Because just like Cano, he's arbitration eligible after next season. The Twins want prospects who they'll have payroll control over for at least 3 years. Cano & Wang will both make too much money through arbitration.

Why trade a #2 pitcher for a #1 pitcher? Then who will be your #2? Teams don't trade top guys unless they're on the decline, which Wang isn't he will most likely only get better. That's like asking why the RED SOX aren't offering Josh Beckett.

Wang is one of the Yankee's best pitcher so that is why he is not included in trade talks. He also could be cy young material in the future.

The Yankees need to add pitching depth and not take it away. Wang is their best pitcher and the Yankees will not part with him. They are making the right move by not making him available.

Wang's current salary is less than a mil.. the NYY would have to be crazy to offer him in exchange for Santana..

It would be pointless. Yes, his postseason stunk, but he has more wins over the past two seasons than anyone and a better ERA than alleged Ace Pettitte had this year
