I found out from a test that I am red/green color deficient. My dad was colorblind, but it is unusual for female offspring to inherit. (Neither my brother or sister have a problem.) I don't feel I'm missing anything, but I do sometimes get in heated arguments with people who perceive colors different than I do! ("That's green." "No, that's brown." "No, that's green!" etc...)

I have a friend who is totally colorblind. They discovered it when he was in kindergarten and first grade and he started coloring purple trees and yellow skies and such. Dressing himself with matching clothes was always a challenge. Believe it or not, though, he is an artist, and quite a talented one at that!!! (And an architect.)

My friend is colorblind... she'd never noticed this before until she finally learned how to read at about 6, and didn't know the meaning of the colors of crayons. Her parents were in shock. But she turned out to be fine, and doesn't even wear glasses. She picks clothes by brighter/ darker shades.

I knew when I was in kindergarten but no one believed me... I could just tell.

eventually in high school I took a test that proved me right.

I'm only partial.. so usually it's with clothes matching.
